A girl (12) from Kragujevac, who fell through the window of her apartment on the fourth floor Sunday night, was treated at the Kragujevac Clinical Center and placed in the intensive care unit. Fortunately, the minor survived the fall from a great height and, as we learn, is out of danger.
It is not yet known with certainty how exactly this accident happened, and the neighbors of the injured twelve-year-old girl say that there are two versions of her fall. As they say, they heard the story that it was an accident, but also the story that she jumped out the window at the time her parents were looking at the grades in the electronic journal, supposedly for fear of being scolded.
He lives with his family
– The girl lives with her family. Most likely, mom and dad were at home when the accident occurred, says the source, adding that psychiatrists spoke with the injured child yesterday. – However, she didn’t want to tell them what exactly happened. However, the most important thing in the whole story is that the boy is alive and will be able to recover, says a source in Kurir who is familiar with the case.
The girl’s neighbor says that everyone in the building is in shock.
– I don’t know what happened exactly, she is a very nice and sweet girl, and her family is decent. We hear that you probably picked up the New Years decorations and somehow accidentally slipped and fell out the window. I can’t imagine it’s anything else, so I think it’s an accident – says this Kragujevac resident.

Children of that age react violently
Unfortunately, suicide attempts and self-harm are not rare among the founders, says Dr. Ružica Jovanović, Kurir’s child psychiatrist.
– Children of that age react violently to problems at school and at home. Sometimes it results in self-harm and sometimes in peer violence. We have many such cases, he said, explaining that children have numerous depressive reactions and sometimes the exact cause is not easy to determine.
As we find out, the youngest fell on her feet, on the grassy part where the flowers were planted.
– A thud was heard, and her father, as if without a soul, ran in front of the building and took his daughter in his arms. At that moment a neighbor who lives across the street arrived. They immediately put her in a car and took her to the Clinical Center, where she received the necessary help: the story of a neighbor.
– After that, we saw his mother – says the neighbor and adds that after the accident the story spread that all this happened through the notes.
An investigation is in progress
Dr. Predrag Sazdanović, director of the Kragujevac Clinical Center, says that the patient has orthopedic injuries, which will be repaired, and that she is in the shock room. – So far, there are no injuries to the internal organs – Dr. Sazdanović explained to Kurir. An investigation is underway and will then determine how the accident occurred. – Both parents are employed, and there were no similar problems in this family before, or other reports – added our interlocutor.
