The father and mother of Igor Ivanović (34) from Belgrade, who died in the Republika Srpska in a plane crash, cannot believe that they lost their pet. With these words, Sreten Ivanović, the father of Igor Ivanović (34), the pilot who died in the accident of the sports plane “Piper 28” in Kozara in the Republic of Srpska, began his confession for Kurir. In addition to Igor, the mother of two children IP (31), a Romanian citizen, also died.
– Nothing hinted at a tragedy. On the fateful day, 13 planes took off from Banja Luka airport and all but his returned. When we heard that the plane crashed, we had no idea that our Igor was in it. We were informed on Friday that our pet was injured – says the father crying and adds:
– When we heard the tragic news, the eldest son Ivica ran out into the street and began to complain and moan. We are not even aware of what is happening to us. The deceased pilot graduated from mechanical engineering high school and has been involved in this work for the past 10 years. – Son, when will your mother be with you? Will I survive to see you one last time? – shouted Igor’s mother when she entered the patio, while her eldest son held her and consoled her.
– We are taking medication. We don’t know how to accept the fact that he no longer exists: Brother Ivica burst into tears and added that Igor was loved and had a great circle of friends.
Neighbors in the Borca neighborhood in Belgrade, where the injured pilot lived with his family, are shocked. – Igor was the pillar of the family. Unfortunately, he financed almost the entire family, because his brothers worked for a living and started building a house, says the neighbor.
The wreckage of the plane, which was reported missing on Thursday around 2:10 p.m., was found on Friday around 3 p.m. on inaccessible terrain. Two bodies were found, one on a plane and one next to him. The woman was behind the wheel, while Ivanović was the operator of the operation to vaccinate foxes against rabies, which was carried out in the wider area of the Banja Luka and Prijedor regions by workers from the Belgrade company “STS aviation “.
