The great fear, the enormous tension of the illegal immigrants who have been roaming western Imotski Krajina for years, peaked in the last three days when two immigrants abducted Marijan Babić, 77, from the village of Babići , the first Croatian settlement on the Bosnian side, writes Slobodna from Split. Dalmatia.

Babic was allegedly kidnapped on a dirt road, an illegal border crossing not far from a small border crossing.

One of the two migrants, they say, had a pistol with a silencer and, in bad Croatian, forced Babić to take a long hike for several hours through deep and impassable forest.

According to them, two migrants and Babić wandered for a three-hour radius, demanding that he take them to the place drawn on the military topographic map.

The place where the two migrants were supposed to meet the rest of the migrant team was marked on the map. And when the migrants met, they just told old Marian to turn around and leave.

Marijan’s grandson told Slobodna Dalmacija that her grandfather fortunately passed away unhurt, they did not touch him, they only asked him to be their guide in the dense forest.
