The head of the Border Police Administration, Miljan Stanojevic, stated that the administration has been forced to deny the claims of “the same” politicians who have been telling lies about the massive return of migrants from European Union countries and their permanent settlement in Serbia for three years. It is the Ministry of the Interior.

In a written statement, which is a reaction to the accusations, enough, Stanojevic noted that “the same people persistently announced” in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 that more than 600,000 migrants would settle in Serbia, and that today “they are already speaking “. millions are coming. ”

He assessed that citizens were witnesses “that nothing similar had happened” and that it was “pure manipulation.”

According to him, this is confirmed by today’s announcement stating that from January 2016 to December 2019, 40,349 people expressed their intention to request asylum in Serbia, “while 114 of the number of applications submitted were finally approved” . .

He also stressed that these “absurd claims” are accompanied by “conspiracy theories about confirmations and secret deals” on the massive return of migrants from EU countries to Serbia.

Stanojevic noted that the allegations that Serbia could be declared a country of first entry were “false” and that the “recently fabricated allegations about some kind of secret agreement with Germany” were completely false.
