“We appeal once again to everyone not to spread inaccurate information, annoy the public and hinder the work of the competent institutions,” said the Interior Ministry.

The Ministry of the Interior denied the comments about the death of the beaten young man, which appeared on social networks after the publication of a video showing a man beating another and breaking both forearms.

The police previously announced that they were intensively searching for IK (30), suspected of beating the young man, and asked citizens to report if they had any information about him.

According to the media, IK has a criminal record in the Serbian and Montenegrin police and is allegedly a citizen of Montenegro.

The Vojvodina Clinical Center announced last night that a young man with serious injuries to his head, face, chest, pelvis and a broken arm was admitted to that institution on August 24, and was discharged for home recovery after treatment.
