A statement from the Interior Ministry indicates that another person is being intensively searched. The detainees are suspected of having participated as accomplices in the crime of aggravated homicide, which occurred on November 12, 2020, in the “Belleville” settlement, when Bojan Mirković was assassinated (1986).
The material evidence collected determined the role of each of the arrested persons. The police ordered them to be detained for 48 hours, after which they will be handed over to the Belgrade High Prosecutor’s Office with further criminal charges and further proceedings.
The members of the Ministry of the Interior continue to work to clarify all the circumstances of this case.
– Bojan Mirković was killed in the Belleville settlement on November 12. This mafia murder upset all the citizens of our capital. Members of the Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with the Superior Prosecutor’s Office, were also very close to the final clarification of this murder today, said Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin.
– Aleksandar Vučić declared war on the mafia. The Ministry of the Interior and all its members lead it seriously and consistently. I want to thank all the members of the Ministry of the Interior for such a successful work – added Vulin.
