Singer Jay ramadanovsky He was buried today in the Alley of Honorary Citizens in Belgrade, where a large number of friends, neighbors, colleagues and citizens gathered to pay their last respects.

Jay was buried according to Muslim customs, as he was of the Islamic faith. Jay’s great wish was fulfilled at the funeral: 50 violins were played at his grave.

After the funeral, Mufti Muhamed Jusufspahić delivered a speech at the singer’s grave.

– Dear God, we ask you to forgive the sins of our brother Jay Ramadanovsky. Accept our prayer from our Dorcol. God is one whatever you call him. We all come together to pray for the soul of the man who made our days better. Thank you all on behalf of the Islamic Community for showing the spirit of Serbia and Dorcol. This is only the beginning because Adam was not created on earth but in Paradise. This is our house.

As a reminder, Jay passed away on Sunday, December 6 after a heart attack. Doctors tried to resuscitate him, sadly without success.

By the way, Jay underwent a heart valve operation in Vienna three years ago, and then doctors told him that he had to strictly watch his diet and a healthy life.

For days, colleagues and friends have said goodbye to him, pointing out that Serbia has lost a great and authentic artist.

Jay is left with his inconsolable daughters Ana and Marija, as well as his ex-wife Nada.
