In the last 24 hours, 21,569 people were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, 7,606 of them tested positive, while sadly 51 people died.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the Institute “Trampoline”, there are 243 patients with respirators in health institutions throughout Serbia.
The black crown records that Serbia is breaking day by day. So yesterday we tested 22,231 people, of which 7,579 tested positive, while sadly 41 people died. Yesterday, the number of people with respirators did not decrease: 223, the day before we had 225, which is the most so far since the beginning of the corona virus epidemic in our country.
Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health prof. Dr. Mirsad Đerlek says that the entire country is in danger and that the health system and the state are trying with superhuman efforts to find a place for every patient to be treated. He predicted that we would soon have 8,000 people infected a day.
Dr. Srđa Janković, as a guest on the program “150 minutes”, said that the curve continues to grow and that its “moderation” depends exclusively on the respect of the measures.
– The curve continues to grow and to stop growth it is important to respect the measures. We have always advocated for stricter measures, even before they were introduced. But I must point out that they exist all the time and those that we had in place before protected us to the extent that they were implemented – said Dr. Janković.
Every day in Serbia, more and more cities declare a state of emergency. As of yesterday, there were 39 places on that list across Serbia, and as of this morning, Novi Sad was added to that list.
