There is reason to suspect that the suspects transferred marijuana from Kosovo and Metohija via alternative crossings to a warehouse near Bujanovac or Nis, after which they transported it to their clients with the suspected assistance of soldiers and a police officer.
In addition, the police found several firearms among members of the organized criminal group during the search of the apartments they used.
The suspects were detained for up to 48 hours and will be taken to the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, along with a criminal complaint.
