The company referred to allegations that Montenegro Airlines has not paid taxes and contributions on employee salaries since 2016, noting that in 2020 it paid the Tax Administration based on taxes and contributions for a total amount of 10,813,169, 72 euros.
In very difficult circumstances, MA took all possible measures to reduce the debts on this basis and made a payment of 813,169.72 euros for taxes and contributions from its own funds. Likewise, in the period in which the Company’s Consolidation and Development Investment Law was applied, adhering to the Law, payments were made for taxes and contributions to the salaries of employees amounting to 10,000,000.00 euros ” the statement read.
“It is important to remember the fact that until September 2020, MA regularly made all payments to Montenegrin airports on behalf of the services provided to conduct flight operations during that period in 2020.
