Members of the Belgrade Interior Ministry arrested a Montenegrin citizen MM (1987) on suspicion of committing the crime of production, possession, carrying and illicit trafficking in arms and explosives.

Members of the Belgrade Interior Ministry arrested a Montenegrin citizen MM (1987) on suspicion of committing the crime of illicit production, possession, transportation and trafficking of weapons and explosives.

It is suspected that, yesterday around 5 o’clock in the afternoon, he entered the garden of a café in Vračar armed, to escape from him very quickly in an unknown direction. The suspect did not use a firearm, nor was anyone injured.

During the search of the department where MM was arrested, the police found an “Uzi” automatic pistol with a silencer, a silicone mask and a wardrobe that he was wearing when entering the cafe.

Members of the police, in cooperation with the competent prosecution, are working intensively to clarify all the circumstances of this event.

The suspect was detained for up to 48 hours and will be taken to the Superior Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, along with a criminal report.
