“After almost 3 months of fundraising for the most expensive therapy in the world, we are ready to announce the end of the fundraiser for Anika’s treatment. The joy is enormous and the gratitude is eternal.

This action encouraged so many people, awakened the best in people, brought us all together. We all fight for the same goal, with a pure heart, we helped everything we could and did our best. Thanks to the state of Serbia for the support and organization of the transport to the hospital. Thanks to the citizens of Serbia for every moment, attention, spoken word and dinar for our Anika. Thanks to Anika’s helpers from the region and around the world who recognized Anika’s struggle and showed that support knows no borders. Together we have shown that children’s lives are priceless and that together we can create miracles because we believe in them.

For each post, reply comment, message, bazaar, box, auction, poster, billboard, send email, contact company, quote, media guest appearance, video, personal story, phone call, idea, support, enthusiasm. Thanks to everyone for every SMS sent, for every post on social media, for every mention of Anika’s story among family, friends and colleagues. Thank you for every donated item, skill or service, for every bazaar organized in different weather conditions, thank you for every charity dinner, prizes and auctions. Thanks to the little friends from kindergarten and elementary schools, high school and college students who supported Anika’s fight in the sweetest and most creative way. Thanks to all the companies for their great contribution to the final result, thanks to the small entrepreneurs for all the great actions that showed us that behind every small company there is a huge heart. Thanks to all the celebrities who used their platform in the right way and made our appeal heard everywhere. Thanks to all the athletes, actors, musicians, artists who have become the face of the unit in this heroic struggle.

Thanks to Gornji Milanovac, a small city of great people. A city for example, a city for pride. We are already planning a great celebration, when Anika returns from therapy!

Thanks to Anika, for showing us what it means to fight, not give up, love and be loved. Thank you for showing us what real life is, that it is not a fairy tale, but that it can have a happy ending. And that in every day, no matter how hard, beauty and gratitude can be found.

Thanks to all of you who we know and look forward to meeting. We owe him gratitude for the rest of our lives. You gave our little girl the opportunity to continue her fight for a long and beautiful life. We are delighted and immensely grateful that there are so many people willing to help a girl they don’t know without hesitation. This is a wonderful day and this is a wonderful world in which our children grow up.

Anika’s family is now preparing for the trip to therapy, but Anika’s team will continue to follow Anika’s story and keep her informed. There are so many children and adults who need help, but even more good people are willing to help. Let’s stay united and humane and keep helping others. Our desire is to redirect all the remaining money, shares, auctions and boxes to other users of the foundation. “
