Mira Kostov (66) from Rakita was found dead in her apartment in Munich, Germany. The corpse was found in a pool of blood by one of its many tenants.

According to police spokesman Sven Miller, Mira is originally from Serbia, but she also had German citizenship. Police believe she was killed between December 24 and 27. In order not to interrupt the investigation, the police did not comment on the manner in which she was killed.

Mira Kostov lived alone in the house. However, from time to time he rented several rooms, mainly to people from the former Yugoslavia who came to Munich. However, the current tenants were not there during the Christmas holidays, and one of them found her when he returned home on Sunday.

Several patrol cars, forensics, criminal police and a murder detective immediately lined up on the scene.

Spokesman Miller described the situation as “very, very complex and confusing” because the murdered woman had numerous occupants.

– It is not yet clear how many people lived in the house. The same bed may have been rented by several people who slept there in shifts, writes the portal sueddeutsche.de.

Investigators also found traces of a burglary in the window of the house, but it is not yet clear if it has something to do with the murder, as there are no indications of a break-in and burglary at the house.

Munich police asked all residents of the area where Mira Kostov lived to report if they noticed anything suspicious in the period from Thursday to Sunday, whether it was people or vehicles.

Investigators are also urging people who have had contact with Miro Kostov in the past or seen her in recent days to call.

The media also reports that Mira was not on good terms with the neighbors and that she constantly fought with them, and that she denounced them even when a branch of her tree crossed her garden.
