The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development today sent an appeal to parents not to photograph or film unauthorized children in schools, “because filming minors without parental consent is prohibited and carries criminal responsibility.”

According to the Ministry, “incorrect information has appeared in the public that citizens send petitions to the Ministry of Education with unauthorized recordings of students as evidence that there are unscrupulous students, teachers and parents who do not adhere to the prescribed (epidemiological) measures. in the schools”.

As indicated, no reports with such content and material were sent to the Belgrade Ministry and School Administration, Inspection Affairs Sector.

“Citizens address non-compliance with epidemiological measures in schools and homes directly to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the Education Inspectorate, but also through the Contact Center of the Inspections of the Republic of the Government of Serbia photographs, “the statement said.

The Minister of Education, Mladen Šarčević, stated that the only available and sufficient tool of the relevant ministry is the inspection of education.

“However, we are working on prevention, that is, the school administration advisers visit the schools, and the assets of the principals of elementary and secondary schools are regularly maintained. Weaknesses are first given by the weaknesses that have been noticed. This model has been successful and schools have responded well. ” Šarčević said and stated in the ad.

Šarčević said that “there were nine warnings in the system of some 2,000 institutions last week, and none this week”, and that the data on the small number of infected children is a good indicator that the application of this teaching model can continue .

According to the statement, the Ministry of Education does not have a mechanism to prevent some parents from visiting schools and filming children and schools without authorization, but that “the negligent conduct of all participants in the educational process regarding compliance with epidemiological measures constitutes a violation of the employee’s labor obligation. ” violation of the student’s obligation and entails disciplinary responsibility. “

The strictest measures, such as dismissal, are provided for unscrupulous directors.
