Today, the Defense Ministry rejected as “lies” the accusations of the Vice President of the Freedom and Justice Party (SAA), Marinika Tepic, that only two surgeons are on duty at the Military Medical Academy (MMA) in Belgrade.

“On Wednesday, when there is an emergency day at the Military Medical Academy, 30 specialist doctors are on duty, of which 17 are surgeons of various specialties and 22 doctors are in specialization,” the statement read.
The Ministry asked Marinika Tepic to “stop lying about the work of the Ministry of Defense, Military Health and the Serbian Army and to apologize to all the doctors who are on duty at the Military Medical Academy every day and worry about the health of all Serbian citizens “.
The SAA vice president said Sunday that “only two surgeons per city of two million” were on duty at the Military Medical Academy that night because, she said, she was cutting personnel at that health institution.
