At the crisis staff conference, Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević and Dr. Ivo Udovičić, commander of the military hospital in Karaburma, addressed the public, and the record number of new patients is the reason all of Serbia is speaking of your treatment.

– In the last 24 hours, 1,545 newly infected with the corona virus were registered in Serbia and five people died, says epidemiologist Darija Kisić Tepavčević.

He said at the press conference that 11,004 citizens were tested yesterday.

– Currently, there are 47 patients on the ventilator, and since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 814 people have died, and 1,048 patients are in hospital treatment and 121 patients are currently in hospital treatment at the Arena temporary hospital – said Kisić Tepavčević .

– In the last 24 hours, 23 people were treated at the Arena temporary hospital. In the last 24 hours, 183 patients were admitted to receive hospital treatment and 75 patients were discharged, occupying more than 100 hospital beds at 24 hours. That is an indicator of the burden on the health system, he said.

He points out that the most infected are in Belgrade – 796, in Novi Sad 111, Kragiujevac 52, Valjevo – 44, Kraljevo – 41, Nis – 29, Pozarevac – 23, Loznica – 21.

Other cities in Serbia have fewer than 20 infected. Most cities have had at least sporadic cases of coronavirus positives, indicating a wide distribution and large numbers of carriers of the virus.

The crown entered the hospitals

Dr. Ivo Udovicic stated that the greatest danger is presented by asymptomatic patients.

– Our hospitals have opened between these two peaks for patients requiring surgery. During this period they exercised their legal right to be treated, however, we entered this third wave and now we have returned to a situation where we do not know how to treat these people. It is impossible to prevent the crown from entering hospitals, said Dr. Ivo Udovicic.

The most dangerous, he says, are people who have mild or none at all.

– We ask all those who do not adhere to the measures if they believe that it will not happen to them and if they have mercy on us that we are doing this. A message for the unfaithful Tom, each of them can be tomorrow in Karaburma or anywhere. We have 11 life-threatening patients – said Dr. Udovicic.
