In the morning session of the Municipal Assembly, the candidate for mayor of Novi Sad on behalf of the winner of the June elections, the list “Aleksandar Vučić – for our children”, will be Miloš Vučević. Eight years of successful management of the second largest city in Serbia and the resurgence of Novi Sad in all aspects, were the best recommendation to entrust Miloš Vučević with the third consecutive term of mayor.
For the most part, new and young candidates will be proposed for City Council members, in accordance with pre-election promises and the determination of the Serbian Progressive Party to rejuvenate the staff.
Starting tomorrow, the ruling coalition in Novi Sad will consist of the Serbian Progressive Party with its partners, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the League of Vojvodina Social Democrats and the Serbian Patriotic Alliance. In the next four years, the citizens of Novi Sad will have a responsible government dedicated to the prosperity of the city, attracting domestic and foreign investors and increasing the number of jobs. The fight for a more beautiful and modern Novi Sad, along with fostering a rich tradition, is the basic objective of our coalition.
