Milivoje M. (63), from a town near Šabac, was arrested today on suspicion that last month he hired a man from this town to kill his ex-wife Zorica J. (41).
Sabac police said they were willing to pay 5,000 euros for the murder of his ex-wife, 22 years younger.
Milivoje M. is suspected of inciting the murder and the police ordered his detention for 48 hours. At that time, he will be taken to the Belgrade Superior Prosecutor’s Office for questioning with a criminal complaint.
A spokesman for the Sabac Superior Prosecutor’s Office, Milan Milutinovic, confirmed that the man who was allegedly hired to kill Zorica J. and who, according to some media, received part of the hired money from her ex-husband, was not arrested. .
It turns out that the Šabac High Prosecutor’s Office and the police have been working for a long time to collect operational data on the allegedly ordered murder of Zorica J. (41).
