The dramatic search for young couple Stefan Rusev (27) and Milica Mirjanic (20) continues, though darkness is slowly falling. Rescue services, police and local residents split into groups and headed in various directions. Currently, the search is directed towards Boljevac, Bor and Kriva Jela, after nothing was found in Lisine, reports the Blic reporter from the scene.
There is no trace or voice of Stefan and Milica in Lisine.
Lisine, practically the entrance to the Beljanica mountain, was the starting point of the rescue services, the police and the Mountain Service. Unfortunately, no clues were found that could help find Milica and Stefan. No car was found, a white “Peugeot” they were driving.
The rescue services, joined by the hunters, split in several directions, and the terrain was still being searched in Lisine, which had already been searched a few hours earlier.
Among those involved in the search are Milica’s father and Stefan’s brother, who split up and left with different groups in different directions, our reporter reports.
As night approaches and darkness falls, most of the search is heading in the direction of Boljevac, our reporter reports.
Dark and difficult terrain
In addition to the darkness that will make the search more difficult, the lifeguards do not like the terrain, because it is a very impassable area and difficult to access. An additional problem is the lack of telephone signal that is lost at the foot of the mountain, and there is not just one path up the mountain, but several, which further complicates the search.
We remind you that Milica Mirjanić (20) and Stefan Russov (27), who were driving in a white Peugeot 207 towards the Lisina picnic area, lost all traces almost 40 hours ago. A helicopter from the Ministry of the Interior, as well as the Mountain Rescue Service, joined the search for the missing.
As is unofficially known, his trail was lost at the foot of the Beljanica mountain near Despotovac, and the parents reported him missing.
