Milan and Marija disappeared without a trace in unclear circumstances, families ask for help

Marija Kepić and Milan Ilić are two young people from different parts of Serbia, whose families share almost identical destinies and have been asking each other the same question for days: where are our loved ones? They have both disappeared and are being intensively searched, and as their loved ones told us, no information they have received thus far has helped in the search for their loved ones.

Marija Kepić is a 29-year-old girl from Arandjelovac, who was reported missing on October 29. Suddenly, as his sister told us, he left the house early in the morning that day and did not return.

– It has been two months since he left and we have no new information. We still don’t know what happened Mary’s sister said.

The sister knows that she got up early on the fateful day and left the house before the family woke up, so no one can say for sure what she was wearing.

– He got up before the mother he was with in the house and went out. He did not call anyone or announce his departure in advance. We don’t know what happened after that – Marija’s sister told “Blic”.

At first, the family of the missing girl did not think that Marija’s departure from the house would turn into an agony that lasted almost a month. Days passed, and as she did not report, they became more and more concerned … When they saw that he did not appear even five days after his disappearance, they reported the case to the police, and published an appeal for help to find him on social networks .

– We rushed through the footage from the security cameras, but it turned out that the cameras it might appear on are not working. – says his sister.

Milan disappeared in Donji Milanovac

Wanting to see their Milan as soon as possible, they wrote a letter asking for the search to end as soon as possible.

– We reported his disappearance that same night at the local police station. The officers actually reacted immediately and, together with the missing persons inspector from the Majdanpek police station, started the search process. We as relatives, from the beginning, with the selfless help of friends and fellow citizens, we organize ourselves immediately and at the city level we look for the place, the land and the surroundings of the city, along the coast (from the water and in land), which unfortunately didn’t even give a result after a few days. The inspectors of the Ministry of the Interior of the Majdanpek police station did what they could within the limits of their professional and technical abilities, but it is obvious that they are limited – the family wrote.

Videos from some cameras in the city were also viewed, while some recordings are still pending.

The family does not rule out the possibility of a sad end to the search. They themselves say that there are indications that Milan committed suicide.

– We as a family believe that, and if so, the search should continue with the same and even greater intensity, which unfortunately with the limited resources of the local police is clearly not possible. – they stated in the letter.

Therefore, the family hopes to include additional capacity and pleads for the search to be intensified.

– A lot of time was wasted. We as family, our friends and citizens, feel helpless and frustrated, because we do not see a solution.

Meanwhile, a strange situation happened, because an unknown old man answered the number of viber of Milan, but this fact did not help to unwind the ball.
