Police Director Vladimir Rebić said today that the police solved the case of Miladin Kovačević.

“On September 16, the injured party called 192, we did not find Kovacevic at the scene, his statement was taken. A search was announced and on the 17th a video of this crime was taken possession. He gave up and is already 18 years old. In September, a police arrest was ordered and the judge made the decision to defend himself against freedom, “Rebić tells TV Prva.

When asked if the girl who complained had injuries, he said: “I think certain injuries were reported, and I think they were marked as minor,” Rebić said.

Kovacevic is suspected of threatening the girl TT (26) four days ago in the center of Belgrade.

The Belgrade First Basic Prosecutor’s Office announced an appeal against the court’s decision rejecting their request that the court order Kovacevic’s arrest.

At the hearing at the First Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, he flatly denied having threatened the girl.

Kovacevic has been known to Serbian public opinion for the case since May 2008, when he brutally beat his colleague from the Bston faculty, Brian Steinhauer, and for which he was prosecuted in Serbia after fleeing the United States.
