MEETING WITH THE KOVID HOSPITALS DIRECTORS: Starting today, a new rule: first at the Kovid clinic for a test, and only later for classification

As of today, the new rule is in force, there is no independent go to the Clinic, Infectious, the following applies to everyone: first to the Kovid clinic for tests and analysis, and only then with instructions for triage.

The meeting of Minister Dr. Zlatibor Lončar with the directors of the Kovid hospitals ended this morning just before 11 am.

Dr. Mijomir Pelemis was the first to address, saying that the situation was discussed throughout the country, and that it was serious but under control.

He said there are almost no places in Belgrade so the next redeployment will take place! Those who are almost cured will be sent out of Belgrade to temporary hospitals where there are places for free beds for seriously ill patients who need oxygen.

The first man from the Infectious Diseases Clinic, Dr. Goran Stevanović, said that a new decision was made today and that a new rule is also in effect as of today. To reduce the influx of the Clinical Center, Infectious Disease Clinic, and similar triage centers, the following applies as of today:

– All people with symptoms must first report to the nearest Kovid clinic for tests and analyzes, and only then and exclusively with the instruction received are they sent to a certain classification center – said Dr. Stevanović.

KBC ZVEZDARA: 404 PATIENTS IN THE HOSPITAL

There are 404 patients at KBC Zvezdara, 22 of the most difficult patients have been intubated.

– The capacities have been taken to the maximum. Yesterday we had 38 receptions and we dismissed 37. The severe clinical picture predominates, which can be seen and how much oxygen is consumed daily. Almost 7 tons, which is enough for half a year in non-kovid mode, said Dr. Petar Svorcan, who is in charge of KBC Zvezdara.

Dr. Pelemis noted that all patients will be cared for, regardless of whether they are mild or severe.

– We do not divide people into young and old, they are all equally important to us. But call as soon as you feel any discomfort. Don’t wait – said Dr. Pelemis.

Let us remind you that these are the most difficult days for Serbia when it comes to the corona virus. In this, the third wave, we broke all records for the number of infected and deceased.

According to the latest data, 51 people died in Serbia in one day as a result of the corona virus.

As stated by the WHO director for Serbia, Marijan Ivanuša, our country is at the top of the world in the number of people infected with kovid 19 in relation to the number of inhabitants.
