Earlier, President Vučić also spoke about financial assistance in health care.
He said that 120,000 health workers will receive aid from a 10,000 dinar card.
He added that as of January 1, health workers will have the largest salary increase compared to other categories of public sector employees.
Brnabic says it currently appears that this year’s economic growth in Serbia will be between minus 0.7 and minus 0.1 percent, which will be by far the best in Europe.
– Our income is not falling so drastically, with the internal availability of funds and the fact that the public debt will continue to be below 60 percent of GDP, we can say, with the projections of ours, the IMF and the World Bank , that we will have economic growth in 2021, by 5.5 or six percent, and we know that as of January 1 we can and have room, even with conservative planning, to increase some important salaries and pensions – emphasized Brnabić .
