Serbian progressive party deputy Aleksandar Martinovic held a press conference in front of the National Assembly

The head of the SNS parliamentarians, Aleksandar Martinović, declared tonight that he and his colleague Sandra Božić are not giving up on the request that the prosecution react to the “fascist outbursts of Boško Obradović”, with whom they today went on hunger strike. .
In front of the Serbian Assembly are still the deputies who went on hunger strike today. MPs Aleksandar Martinović and Sandra Božić announced that they would start a hunger strike until the Prosecutor’s Office reacted to the attack on Risticević.

Martinović said they were asking the prosecution to react and said that his hunger strike was not a fight for anyone individually, but for equal rights for citizens.

With the strike, he says, they do not want to put pressure on the institutions, but ask why the prosecution does not react to the attack on MP Marjan Risticevic even after two days.
– No one should be hit. Neither Bosko Obradovic, nor Dragan Djilas. We would also react the same way in that case: Martinović declared, adding that the attack on Marijan Risticević was pure fascism and attempted murder.

He added that there are three times more people who came to provide support than Dragan Djilas’ followers, and that they never touch anyone.

– If the attack against Marijan Risticevic goes unpunished, who guarantees the rights of the citizens of Serbia – Martinovic said and added that this is a fight for Serbia to become a state governed by the rule of law in the full sense of the word. .

We ask that the Prosecutor’s Office begin to do its work, he noted.

– What should happen in Serbia for the prosecution to react, for a civil war to break out? The question for the prosecution is why it does not react even after two days, Martinović said.

– Don’t they work on Saturdays and Sundays? Does that mean that it is permissible to sue the MP SNS on Fridays and that we do not work on weekends, so we are waiting for the first following business day? Until the prosecution responds to us, we will not give up our requests, because it is not an individual – said Martinović.

As he added, with this hunger strike, they are asking the bodies that care about justice to react.

– It is impossible that there are trees in the category of citizens, some who can beat themselves, and others like Djilas who are allowed everything – Martinovic stressed and added that this is a principle and that citizens must be equal before the law .
