He said that according to the first news from the schools, the students wear masks they brought from home, the schools did not provide masks for the students, while from high school to high school some schools provided their teachers with cotton masks, some surgical , some visors.
Said it wasn’t true as the epidemiologist Predrag Kon says, one mask is enough for one student a day because the classes last two hours in total, which indicates that high school students have seven hours and sometimes eight.
He also said that it was tacitly agreed to tolerate that in teaching groups in secondary schools where there are more than 30 students in the class, there will be two groups with more than 15 students.
As he said, the teachers also asked to ensure the health of teachers who suffer from chronic diseases, but none of the requests were accepted, with the explanation that we are not in a state of emergency.
“I’m afraid the minister knows the mindset of the average Serbian teacher, and is aware that whatever the teachers say, they accept it without question,” he said.
Supplying schools with disinfectants will depend on local government to local government, he said, emphasizing that the problem is that there are not enough staff in the schools. “We will only see how everything will be from September 10. We are entering a period of uncertainty, teachers expect a period of uncertainty, ”he said.
Markov said the impression was that he had to start school in Serbia on September 1 at any cost.
