“I think this is the best confirmation that we have achieved the end result with the measures we have taken. It is also the answer for critics who said that this help is not necessary. Obviously such a large number of people who requested justify this help, “Mali told RTS. .

Mali also said he was very proud of the measures taken by the state, which he said were “the right measures at the right time.”

“All over the world, you have the worst economic crisis, you have tens of millions of people who lose their jobs, close factories, countries and economies that are failing. Serbia has avoided that scenario,” Mali said.

He recalled that one hundred euros is only part of the aid, recalling that the state paid the minimum wage last week, that these payments will be in June and July, and that a total of 5.1 billion euros were allocated from the budget to help the economy due to the crown crisis. virus.

“I am sure that the citizens will use the aid of 100 euros to buy, acquire the things they need, and the state shows how strong and powerful it is. This also shares optimism, because they are trying to tell the citizens that we are strong and stable and that we want to move forward and develop the economy in the best way, “said Mali.

He recalled that the payment for retirees begins tomorrow and that 100 euros will be paid in the accounts of a million retirees, who can withdraw on Saturday.

Tomorrow, a call center will start operating, where citizens can also register for one hundred euros.

Mali recalled that citizens will be able to register until June 5 and that the money will be paid successively.

“The payments start tomorrow, first we will pay money to the older citizens, then to those who receive social assistance and to others. A few days after June 5, I hope we will finish the whole process,” Mali said.

He noted that the state has money in the budget and that there are no problems with that.
