– Happy because the newborn daughter leaves maternity today, and it is a great sadness because Dragana has not been with us for a week – says Boris Savić, husband of Dragana Savić (34) who died from bleeding after giving birth in the Niš Clinical Center in the evening between August 23 and 24.
After eight days, a girl who was born with just over two kilograms and in the meantime received the name Tara, since she is a willing older sister, left the maternity hospital today.
Boris came to pick up his daughter, accompanied by his eldest daughter, as well as the closest relatives of his late wife.
– The baby is great, everything is fine, now it weighs 2,110 grams. My mother, as well as Draga’s mother and her sister will help me take care of Tara – said Boris.
Boris says that eight days after Dragana’s death, they still don’t know what happened and all the circumstances under which Dragana passed away.
– She came out healthy and with the right to give birth, nothing bothered her, we corresponded until the last minute – Boris remembers the evening in which he had no idea that tomorrow the most terrible news awaited him.
According to him, he will wait for the results of the autopsy, after which he will decide on further steps with his lawyer.
