“MA, CLOSE THE CAFES AT 7:00 PM” Shortening the days of discos and cafes, an issue that DIVIDED SERBIA completely

The news that cafes, discos and restaurants could close at 8 p.m., no later than 9 p.m., caused a real storm on social networks and through contradictory comments, while some protested vigorously, others supported measures more rigorous.

After a series of statements from members of the Crisis Staff in public that one of the possible measures could be to limit the work of clubs, cafes, restaurants, in fact all catering facilities, the comments kept coming, so everything the subject generated a strong controversy. It seems that the citizens of Serbia, if adopted today, would be affected by this measure more than any other!

Many rebelled against the measure and wondered how such a measure could contribute to the fight against the crown.

– It seems that the crown does not confuse anything more than when the coffee working hours change. You don’t know if she came or went, was one of the comments.

Others commented that the crown harmed caterers the most, although, as they claim, these are not the only places where the crown can be extended.

– The only thing you know is that you criticize cafes-discos, discos-cafes, loud music transmits the virus … And what about shopping centers, commercial facilities, transportation where they sit on the head? – asked one of the users of the social network Facebook.

The working hours of the cafeteria are currently until 23:00.

However, there were also those who absolutely supported the measure to close the cafe.

– Why don’t you close the cafes and restaurants at 7 pm … Shops and markets at 8 pm for ten days, until the situation calms down? No one will fail in ten days, it is said in the comments.

Many musicians and caterers also appeared, mainly concerned about their financial future, now that the crown has moved all the celebrations.

However, as with any news about the corona virus, a lot of comments were in the direction of one of the most popular conspiracy theories that the crown does not exist and that it is all an invention and a twist.

– Folks, this is all one big scam! The crown does not exist, claimed one of the Facebook users. Was it ironic or serious …

However, which supports the thesis that entertainment venues are the places where the virus spreads the fastest and fastest. The Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, also spoke about it yesterday.

As he pointed out, the problem is loud music, screaming, hugs, kisses … When yelling, without a mask, the possibility of spreading the virus is great.

– The problem is when the music is loud, when you can’t talk at a distance. If it is a concert, if there is music at full volume, we cannot hear each other and we would have to get closer. There are far fewer such situations until 8 and 9 pm than after that. It is not a classic sitting problem, but too loud music when you have to get close. I repeat, we can only function if we are moderate, because it is much better to work until 8, 9, 10 hours, as long as we agree, but work every day, than to get into a situation of closing and not working at all. Do we not see what is happening in the region? Everything is closing – Minister Lončar pointed out.

That this is true is also evidenced by the fact that most youngsters are infected. The epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorović said that young people have suffered the most lately, but that he fears that in the end this will affect older citizens.

However, due to the failure to comply with the measures of the culprit, the lack of a law that hires more inspectors to control clubs must be sought. However, that too should be changed soon.

In Serbia, a more severe punishment must begin for non-compliance with epidemiological measures, which is why the Serbian Assembly must approve amendments to certain laws at its first regular session.

Thus, in the future, not wearing masks, indoors, would be fined 5,000 dinars, but on the spot, without a judicial process, as is the case today.
