The Health Minister, Zlatibor Lončar, stated in the PRVA TV newspaper that the situation with the coronavirus is moving in the direction in which the light is visible at the end of the tunnel, but that care must still be taken.
Some people saw the abolition of the measures as if the epidemic had ended, which, as he said, is not true.
“Today, according to all the parameters they have so far, the assessment of our most distinguished professors of epidemiology at the Belgrade Medical School is that if they adhered to the measures, they would not have people infected on June 15,” he said. .
Despite the good results, it is too early to talk about the victory over the crown, because the pandemic will come when everyone wins, the minister said, because the country will have to open, and then people will come and leave the country .
Loncar evaluated that the situation in all hospitals is satisfactory and that the system is working, it is safe, tests and emergency interventions are being carried out.
Now it is moving to the second phase: the regular system.
“Everyone with a problem that needs to be resolved according to the most regular procedure is screened, given help … We have taken every step to make it safe for both healthcare workers and patients,” he said.
He thanked the health workers and said they were “incredible heroes”. He recalled that their wages increased.
“We found a situation where our nurses had a salary of 29,136 dinars in 2009 and 2010.” Today, nurses have a salary of 54,166 dinars, “she said.
He added that in 2011, the clinical doctor had a salary of 51,119 dinars, and today he has 84,551 dinars, as well as that the specialist doctor had a salary of 62,763 dinars, and today his salary is 105,895 dinars.
Since the start of the epidemic, 4,500 health workers have been employed, of which 1,500 are doctors, he said.
He added that he will pay special attention to this generation of young people who became involved during the pandemic, which he believes is the future of Serbian health care.
The Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, declared in the TV PRVA newspaper that the attack by the leader of the Serbian movement Dveri, Boško Obradović, against the deputy Marijan Rističević and on him was classical violence.
He said he was not as important as Marjan Risticevic, who, as he said, was beaten.
“It doesn’t matter how I feel.” I was the representative of the state there, but in no country is it implicit that someone can behave like this, “he said.
As he said, Boško Obradović entered his face and pulled him by the arm, but no one condemned him.
“I am not afraid of Boško Obradović, nor of those who threaten him,” he told TV Prva.
