Starting at noon, the KCS Clinic for Burn, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Zvečanska will be converted into a hospital, Minister Zlatibor Lončar said.

After meeting with the directors of kovid hospitals, Zlatibor Lončar noted that new facilities will open in Vrnjačka Banja on Wednesday.

In Serbia, 1,949 healthcare workers were infected with the coronavirus, of which 64 were hospitalized, Loncar said. On that occasion, Lončar appealed to citizens: “If you care about the doctor, change your behavior. Cut off the contacts, because that is the only way to help you and them.”

“We started sending patients from the Infectious Diseases Clinic to Niška Banja, Kragujevac, last night, because simply at this moment the capacities of the hospital are exhausted,” stated the director of the KCS Infectious Diseases Clinic, Goran Stevanović.

The doctor says that they have been repeating for nine months, talking, praying, stating that there is no cure or vaccine for this disease, and that the only thing left is prevention – distance, mask, measures – to prevent the spread of the virus.

In serbia New measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus come into force today, which will last the next ten days.

The new anti-epidemic measures are the reduction of the working day until 18:00 in restaurants, cafes, bars, discos, betting houses and shopping centers, and the mandatory and unconditional use of a protective mask indoors, as well as outdoors in those situations in which interpersonal contacts cannot be avoided.

All public gatherings with the presence of more than five people indoors and outdoors are prohibited. Companies, schools, shops, shopping malls and similar facilities are excepted from this measure, for which the rule is that they must contribute four square meters per person.
