He said this on the occasion of the vaccination of the population of northern Kosovo and Metohija and announced that the next contingent of vaccines would arrive in January.
In an interview for the Pristina Indeksonline portal, Lonar pointed out that the leadership of the Republic of Serbia is committed to the care of all citizens, without exception, especially during the pandemic, which lasted a year and claimed almost two million lives around the world.
“Considering that we were the first in the region and the second in continental Europe to acquire a corona vaccine and begin to immunize the most vulnerable population, we believe that we are all interested in allowing more citizens to escape the pandemic” said. it’s Lonar.
Regarding vaccination in northern Kosovo and Metohija, Lonar said that hundreds of citizens have been vaccinated in Kosovo and Metohija in the last two days.
“We believe that the goal of every responsible government in the world is to do everything possible to save at least one human life, let alone hundreds and thousands,” Lonar said.
Belgrade donated 1,000 coronavirus tests to Pristina in mid-April, when demand for the tests was highest.
