Members of the Interior Ministry in Indjija arrested 24-year-old Ž. S. from the vicinity of Indjija, more precisely Beška, due to suspicion that he committed the crime of adultery with a child, announced the regional police administration in Sremska Mitrovica.
As we have learned unofficially, the girl is 13 years old. It is checked if there was a sexual relationship or if it was voluntary.
– It all happened around 6 pm The police were informed that the minor went with the man in an unknown direction. After returning home, a rape was reported.
The case is currently being worked on and it is being verified if there was a violent sexual relationship or if it was a voluntary act.
The suspect was detained for up to 48 hours and will be taken to the Sremska Mitrovica High Prosecutor’s Office, along with a criminal report.
