Members of the crisis staff discussed the current epidemiological situation in Serbia, as well as the latest measures in the fight against the corona virus. The latest information is announced to the public by Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević.
Penalties from 5,000 to 300,000
The sanctions for non-compliance with the measures range between 5,000 for individuals and between 30,000 and 300,000 for legal persons, which did not allow compliance with the measures.
Ten children were hospitalized at Dragisa Mišović hospital
– At the moment, 10 children and 6 mothers are housed at KBC Dragiša Mišović, there is a pregnant woman in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics – said Dr. Kisić.
Currently, 2,307 covid patients are hospitalized, the majority in Belgrade.
The largest number of hospitalized patients is at KBC Bežanijska kosa, 244.
Kisic Tepavcevic said that there is still capacity and that it is possible to continue thinking a few steps forward, but that we must all think about the capacity of the health system and not allow them to be exhausted to the maximum.
Not only elementary students go on vacation, but high school students too
Starting on Wednesday, all primary and secondary students will have three days off, it was decided in the Crisis Staff session.
It is forbidden to gather more than five people
Crisis staff has decided to ban the gathering of more than five people both inside and outside, said Darija Kisić Tepavčević. This decision does not apply to the school environment or the work environment. Up to 500 people can attend bishops and theaters.
A total of 708 students have been infected since the beginning of the school year
Since the start of the school year, since September 1, the presence of coronavirus in the school environment in Serbia has been confirmed in a total of 708 students, 308 primary and 400 secondary.
Dr. Kisić stated that last week, from October 26 to November 1, a total of 248 children were confirmed in schools: 97 primary school students and 151 secondary school students.
In the first four days of this week, from November 2 to 5, the presence of the kovid 19 virus was determined in 202 students, 74 primary and 128 secondary, reported Kisić Tepavčevcih.
According to her, in eight weeks, from the beginning of the school year, it was mainly about leaving the school environment.
-When a case of the virus appeared, they reacted immediately, so the department, that is, half, would be in online classes for 14 days – he said.
Kisic noted that now 200 students attend classes online.
Infected in social welfare institutions
197 users and 118 employees were infected in social protection institutions.
Most infected from 30 to 59 years
One in five people, more precisely 20 percent, is infected between the ages of 30 and 59.
More infected in Belgrade
The most infected are in Belgrade, 40 percent, followed by Novi Sad, then Nis.
Most of those infected are from New Belgrade, followed by Zemun and then Zvezdara.
In the last 24 hours, 12,947 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 2,282 were positive, and half of them were registered in Belgrade: 1,144.
That is the largest number in the capital so far.
It is followed by Novi Sad 219, Kraljevo 60, Nis 50, Vranje 32, Zrenjanin 29, Pancevo 25, Sremska Mitrovica 22 and Ljubovija 20.
Other cities have fewer than 20 new registrants.
The hospital is filling up
Kovid’s hospital in Serbia is filling up hour by hour and Belgrade is running out of space. In the last 24 hours alone, there were more than 100 patient admissions in Belgrade who were diagnosed with covid-19.
10 people died, 2,282 newly infected
According to the latest data, the corona virus has been confirmed in another 2,282 people in Serbia, and another 10 people have died as a result of the infection.
12,947 samples were analyzed.
There are 57 patients on respirators.
