In addition to Ana Brnabić, the guests in the studio are the journalist Milomir Marić and the sociologist Professor Vladimir Vuletić.
At the beginning, the president indicated that there will be a lot of energy in the new government, and also confirmed that 50 percent of the government will be women, as well as that two new ministries will be established.
“We have a great job ahead of us, but we will make it,” said Brnabić.
Vladimir Vuletic said that the new government will initially deal with the pandemic and the economic problems that directly depend on the corona virus, noting that it is not important how long to wait for the new government, but that it is of quality and takes care of things that are important to people.
– The response of the president was rational for me, who immediately after the elections said that there would be many issues and meetings on Kosovo, which put the government in the background – said Vuletić.
Ana Brnabić said that she was proud of many ministers and said that many did a great job.
– I think that is the case of all the governments of the world – said the president, and pointed out that it is true that some ministers went to foreign embassies to lobby for themselves.
– That is the worst thing anyone can do for himself, that is what President Vučić once said. The more an embassy lobbies for someone, the less likely they are to become a minister. That is the worst possible recommendation – emphasized the prime minister.
He said that the SNS received the greatest support from citizens, and that is exactly why the great responsibility falls on the backs of progressives: to form the best possible government to continue the progress of Serbia.
– So we wait, as some criticized us. No one has ever had so much responsibility or trust from citizens. We must do everything possible to justify that trust.
Brnabic said that although our results are good, it will not numb us, but the state will initiate a stronger fight against organized crime.
– Citizens will see serious changes in that regard, and no one will be protected – said Brnabić.
The first theme of the show is Lajcak’s “tour” in the Balkans, as well as his insistence on the creation of the Union of Serbian Municipalities, which was not well received in Pristina.
The president said she did not want to be too rude to the EU and that our aim was to be part of the European family of nations, but that she was disappointed that she was allowed for more than seven years not to form the JCC.
– We comply with all agreements. It is catastrophic for me that the same phrases have been repeated in progress reports for years, no matter what Pristina does. And it is inadmissible that the text is the same for us and for Pristina. We respect everything and have implemented our part of the Brussels Agreement, and what the Albanians are doing today was allowed by the European Union, Brnabić said.
Maric said that the positions of Pristina and us are irreconcilable, and that the international community has promised us that the JCC will have executive powers, but that none of that has been achieved.
Ana Brnabić said that Vučić eased the heavy burden of the previous government and pointed out that we should be proud to have such a politician.
– He is perfectly prepared for all meetings, prepared for any eventuality. That is incredibly important to us, to me as Prime Minister and to our entire team. He took all the challenges off our backs and transferred them to himself, and faced many challenges alone, the president said.
He pointed out that Serbia is no longer the same country that it was 10 or 15 years ago and said that we are much stronger than we were.
– Pristina has not implemented any reform, its unemployment situation is a disaster, organized crime is flourishing and that scares me. Politicians in this part of the Balkans, when they cannot solve problems, start creating political problems and blaming others.
Another issue is the arrival of Vladimir Putin in Serbia, about which there has been much speculation in recent days.
Maric says that they are the same ones who resent Vučić for seeing too much Putin and Xi Ping, now they are worried that the Russian president will not come.
Ana Brnabić said that Moscow has never exerted any pressure on Serbia and that Russia fully respects our policy.
– I was at the meetings when Vladimir Putin was visiting Belgrade, and then I learned a lot about political culture and diplomacy. Let me repeat once again, the Russians have never pressured us on any issue – said the president.
