In the last 24 hours, 5,456 people were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, 227 of them tested positive, while sadly two people died.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the “Trampoline” Institute, there are 22 patients on ventilators in hospitals throughout Serbia.
Let us remind you, in the previous three days, there were more than 200 infected people in Serbia per day. On Monday we had 67 new cases of infection, on Tuesday we registered a jump to 152, on Wednesday to 245, on Thursday to 203, and yesterday there were 265.
The official number of people hospitalized, published yesterday on the Covid 19 website, was 359.
The number of 265 new cases of infection yesterday is a record number in Serbia since the third wave of the epidemic began.
By the way, due to the worsening of the epidemiological picture in Serbia, the crisis personnel for the fight against kovid 19 met yesterday and took three new measures, namely decisions:
- Local governments are prohibited from issuing permits to organize events.
- As of Monday, the Belgrade Arena will once again become a covid hospital
- Service facilities are required to have a person responsible for implementing the measures within the facility.
