In the last 24 hours, 15,697 people were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, 6,557 of them tested positive, while sadly 56 people died.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the “Trampoline” Institute, there are 283 patients on ventilators in hospitals throughout Serbia.

Let’s add that we have fewer newly infected people on Mondays, because fewer people are tested over the weekend, and today’s figures reflect the situation since the weekend.

So far, the black daily records are: the most positive in a day: 7,999, the most people with respirators: 288, the most tested: 22,837 and the most deceased: 69.

The number of admissions is not going down, and it is worrying that more and more patients are coming to us with more serious clinical conditions, which they treated themselves at home – warned Dr. Goran Stevanović, director of the KCS Infectious Diseases Clinic and member of the Crisis Staff for the fight against the coronavirus.

Dr. Predrag Kon also spoke today about the fact that the medical part of the Crisis Staff has already prepared a proposal of measures before the holidays, and they refer to our people who would come from abroad.
