The tragic traffic accident occurred on the local Gračac road, when the two, on a Yamaha motorcycle, allegedly lost control of the two-wheeler, landed in a canal next to the road, hit first a concrete bridge and then a nearby metal door. Alex, who was driving the motorcycle, died at the scene of the accident, while Petar succumbed to his injuries two hours later in Kraljevo hospital.
In addition to the inconsolable parents and relatives, their friends, numerous classmates and acquaintances are also mourning the two injured high school students, leaving shocking messages on social networks. The companions also want to say goodbye to Alex and Petra.
– They were role models who did not cause any problems. Petar is my friend from school and I know he loved motorcycles and cars. Who would have imagined that he would be on a motorcycle and end his young life. We are all shocked – says one of Peter’s school friends, also from Gračac.
LAST GOODBYE
THE TIME and place of burial for the injured high school students will be announced later. Until the conclusion of this issue, the autopsy of the injured children was not completed.
Unlike him, Alex G. had never ridden a motorcycle until that fateful night. This was confirmed to us by his older brother, Aleksandar, adding that the young people borrowed a motorcycle from a friend to ride.
