LAST DRINK OF COFFEE WITH SHARC: Police questioned a young man Aleksandar met before the murder

Aleksandar Šarac (35), who was shot and killed at TC Ušće on Saturday, October 17, called his friends to see him at that mall before he died, because he thought he was safe in a public place where there are many people.

Recall, Sharac, who was a suspected member of the international Pink Panthers gang, was shot twice in the head in the mall garage, and died nine days later in the Emergency Center. Lazar I. (23), when the police identified him as the aggressor, fired from a “beret” with a silencer at point-blank range as he approached the armored “Mercedes”.

During the murder investigation, the police questioned a large number of his friends, and among them was a star’s boyfriend, who was with Šarc on the fateful day.

– The inspectors questioned everyone close to Šarc, so the boy from the famous star also responded to the police call. During the conversation at the police, he said that he had known Aleksandar for a long time, as well as that they were friends of the family. As he explained, Sharac told them before that he had a problem, but they did not want to talk about it in detail, and also said that because of that, they would move less and leave the house – says our source of the investigation.

– A friend also explained that they had agreed for days to have a drink or a coffee, but that they still did not intend to go out. However, on the fateful day, Šarac invited him to meet another boy in Ušće. As he told the police, Aleksandar told them that he thought it was a safe place because there were so many people as it was the weekend. Although this decision surprised him, the young man went to have a coffee, but also left the mall before the shooting – explained Kurir’s interlocutor. The young man questioned spoke in detail about their relationship. He said that they were dating as a family and traveling outside of Belgrade, and also showed a phone on which he had messages from Šarc, showing that they had arranged a meeting several times. Apparently the last phone call Šarac made from his mobile phone was to this young man, the source said.

Various murders

After the conversation, the young man was released and is not a suspect in this investigation because it was determined that he had nothing to do with the crime. Let us remind you, Aleksandar Šarac, who also connected with certain groups of fans, was repeatedly attacked by assassins. A bomb was thrown at his house in Banovo brdo twice, once he was shot while sitting on the terrace, and in January 2019, the killer Čaba Der killed his son-in-law Nebojsa Markovic in front of his house. The attack on Šarc occurred two days after his close friend, Red Star fan Lazar Vukićević, disappeared in Banovo brdo.
