The municipality of Trstenik has reintroduced an emergency situation, it was confirmed to “Novosti”.
This decision, which was made today, just two weeks after the state of emergency was lifted in the municipality, came about due to the worsening epidemiological situation in the Trstenik territory, as indicated in the latest report from the Krusevac Public Health Institute. .
– Since the beginning of the epidemic, 109 KOVID-19 positive patients have been registered in the territory of our municipality, and among 11 new patients throughout the Rasina district, 10 are from Trstenik – says Milena Turk, president of the municipality.
– When examining the contacts of the patients, the transmission of the disease in the cafes was verified and the non-compliance of the preventive measures prescribed by the citizens was verified.
Turk claims that the decision was made to declare a state of emergency and that special measures were taken to prevent further spread of the virus. He calls on his fellow citizens to adhere to the prescribed measures to combat the pandemic as soon as possible.
According to data from the Krusevac Public Health Institute, 3 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, including two in Trstenik municipality and one case in Krusevac. 1,409 people are considered cured.
