The deadline for completion of the gondola is 365 days. Works in multiple locations. Pillars are being erected, a cabin garage is being built, two intermediate stations are being prepared on the route from Brzeće to Mali Karaman, which is 3,741 meters long.

“Unless unforeseen circumstances arise, and when I say circumstances that are those in which we cannot influence, the gondola will be put into operation during December of this year to the joy of all skiers and gondola users”, says Dejan Ćika, director by JP Skijalište. From Serbia.

After several decades, the Brzeće sub-center with more than 5,000 beds will be connected to the ski area at the top of the mountain.

“The economic effects of households will undoubtedly be important for the entire local community. The gondola will promote the development of national crafts, handicrafts and the development of rural tourism,” says Valentina Milosavljevic, president of the municipality of Brus.

The construction of the gondola is the largest and most significant investment in tourism in recent years.

“A tourism investment that will certainly revive Kopaonik as a tourist destination, but also the villages of Podkopaonica and the entire region,” said Rasim Ljajic, Minister of Commerce, Tourism and Telecommunications.

The gondola will be meaningful in many ways. It will operate throughout the year, will contribute to better attendance and, by reducing the number of cars in the center, will protect the natural resources in the heart of the National Park.
