“The numbers are good and everything we see is good, but the behavior is not in line with the current situation. We certainly still have the virus in circulation,” Kon said on the TV morning show Prva.

In the first days after the measures were relaxed, he was satisfied with the situation, especially on public transport.

“I am very concerned about political unrest, seriously, because such mass public meetings are reliable places where the virus can be transmitted. Whether the meetings are political or not does not matter.”

Those who respect the highest measures are the elderly who have realized that they are the most aggressive.

“We are showing that we do not know how to respect the measures and that we should be required to wear masks and other measures,” Kon said.

He says he does not feel any personal responsibility for not respecting the measures, but adds: “If I was worried, I am.”

“We will express this concern, I think other colleagues will, and that is something that ends the influence of the professional side of the crisis staff.”
