He warned that the virus was still with us and that it should be understood that it would remain for a long time.

He assessed that it is difficult for us to get to zero at all, in terms of the number of newly infected and the interruption of the first wave.

Kon believes that there will be an increase in numbers after some relaxation of the measures, but stresses that in no case is the work of nightclubs allowed, but only extended working hours for shops and cafes and restaurants that have gardens.

It indicates that meetings of more than 30 people are prohibited, and therefore celebrations indirectly, and that the bodies that carry out inspections and controls must understand this.

Kon, as a guest on the RTS morning show, warned that the distance measure must be respected in cafes and restaurants, and that it is clear that each table must have its own sanitizer.

According to him, if this is not respected, we again rush towards the spread of the virus, and we can barely reduce it after a month.

“We need to understand that this is not a joke and there should be no relaxation. No one will forgive anyone for filling hospitals like what happened,” Kon said, and appealed to the control authorities “to do their job now more than ever.”

He adds that even if someone wants to mark the wedding, he can do it with a number of up to 30 people, but he affirms that the parties should be postponed because the situation is like that.

Kon mentioned that yesterday all requests were rejected by the crisis staff, and that it was said that it was a sudden relaxation of the measures.

Regarding the recommendation of self-isolation for people who come from summer vacations, Kon said that everyone should be vigilant, if they come from countries where the transmission of the virus is increased, to endanger themselves and the environment.

He also recalled that the recommendation that children from those countries attend online classes for a period of 10 days was in force, adding that neighboring countries were Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He also claims that everything is ready to start school, but that no one has stopped the virus.

“In everything we do, we work to slow down the transmission of the virus and make sure that we have a situation with the fewest possible problems for the healthcare system,” Kon said.
