Crisis staff members Branislav Tiodorovic and Darija Kisic Tepavcevic dismissed the announcement that a state of emergency could be imposed on October 1 as disinformation.
President of the Union of Physicians and Pharmacists Rade Panić stated that he has “information that October 1 is mentioned as the date of introduction of the state of emergency.”as well as in support of that “the fact that Prof. Branislav Tiodorović and Dr. Predrag Kon announced a possible state of emergency three days ago.”

When asked if the imminent introduction of a state of emergency is being considered and if October 1 was mentioned as a possible date for that, a member of the crisis staff, prof. Dr. Branislav Todorović replied briefly in an SMS message: “It’s orthodox nonsense that no one mentioned except fools.
Epidemiologist Zoran Radovanovic said that the introduction of a state of emergency would not make sense and was unnecessary in March this year.
“There is no justification for the introduction of a state of emergency. The survival of the state is not questioned. On March 19 an epidemic of greater epidemiological significance was declared that corresponds to the emergency situation and is sufficient for an effective anti-epidemic fight”, Radovanovic said.
