Vedran Repčić, son of former Red Star Srebrenka soccer player, was killed this morning in a shooting in the parking lot of the Braće Jerković settlement. Repčić was also the target of the killers in November 2015, when he was shot in the Voždovac neighborhood of Belgrade after an argument with several men.

The 2015 shooting took place on Dragice Končar Street, where Vedran met with acquaintances. After a short fight, one of them drew a pistol and shot him, and the attackers fled towards Zaplanjska Street. With several gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen, he was transferred to the Emergency Center and then to the intensive care unit, where doctors fought for his life for days …

Repcic was sentenced to ten years in prison for the murder of Predrag Milosavljevic, owner of the “Brka” store in the Brace Jerkovic settlement. It was determined that Repčić came to the store with the intention of robbing him, and when Milosavljević objected, he shot him from a “Kalashnikov”.

Repčić was charged after killing taxi driver Branko Topalović on October 14, 1996 in the Braće Jerković settlement. He was acquitted of that charge, because, as the judge said, “there was no material evidence that Repcic killed the taxi driver.”

Investigation in the settlement of Braće Jerković

What is the motive for this morning’s shooting and whether it is related to their previous conflicts, the police must determine during the investigation, and an investigation is still underway at the scene. Repcic was known in his area as “fear and trembling”.

As we previously reported, the shots at Braće Jerković’s estate rang out around 10 o’clock, and the ambulance team, which immediately arrived at the scene, could only declare the man’s death.

– Our teams were sent there around 10:00 AM, but they could only declare the death of the man – said from the “Blic” ambulance.
