Serbian police officers have identified another person, whose trail is being lost at the same time as Lazar Vukićević (30). Vukicevic disappeared on 14 October in Banovo brdo and was last heard by Damir Hodzic (23) from Bar, a close relative of Alan Kozar, who was killed this summer in Corfu. Since that night, besides Vukićević, there is no young Hodžić, but also another young man, who was in his company.
It is assumed that the three were kidnapped and that the same criminal group from Belgrade, close to the “Kavač” clan, is behind their disappearance. According to operational information, the leaders of this team are also responsible for the death of Aleksandar Šarc (35), who succumbed to his injuries at the Emergency Center on Monday morning, but also for the kidnapping of Goran Veličković Goksije and Ljubomir Marković Kića.
– From the moment the state’s fierce response to their behavior and atrocities was announced, the leaders of this criminal group fled. There is information that they found a hiding place not only outside Belgrade, but also in the country. Still, they can’t hide, we’ll find them. His associates are being detained and interrogated – says the source “Novosti” from the security structures.
In addition to the atrocities and mutilations of people, which according to operational information, register and “share” via “sky”, applications on encrypted phones, this group is also associated with drug trafficking, organized crime and extortion. This whole week, especially the distribution of drugs, is done in cooperation with certain members and leaders of the “Kavac clan”. On their own, as is supposed, they “made” some liquidations.
– We have evidence that someone from Montenegro signaled them when Hodžić, allegedly a member of the Bar criminal clan, whose leader until July was Alan Kožar, his close relative, arrived in Belgrade. This bar equipment relies on the “scales”. We suspect that Hodžić may have served as “bait” for Vukićević, says the interlocutor.
Young Baranin, Vukićević and another young man apparently disappeared that same night. Members of the Serbian police are now investigating his fate.
– We fear the worst, but we also hope for a miracle. However, the leaders of this Belgrade team are close to the “Kavcans”, and Hodzic is a “scalar”. Anything could have happened there.
This young man from Bar was, by the way, arrested several times in Montenegro. He was arrested for illegal possession of weapons, but also for blackmail and “organized crime.” The last time his name appeared in the columns of the black chronicle was in April 2018, when, along with his accomplices, he was sentenced to one year in prison for trying to extort 10,000 euros from a man from Ulcinj.
Hodzic is closely related to the murdered Kozar. The leader of the Bar criminal group and Damir Hadžić from Užice were shot dead on 23 July this year in front of a villa they rented in Corfu. His killers are still being sought.
– Kožar and Hadžić were considered to have exceptional relationships with “resellers”, but also Filip Korać and Luka Bojović. Serbia had issued an Interpol red warrant against Hadzic, because he was identified as one of Davorin Baltic’s killers on January 1, 2018 in the center of Belgrade, “Novosti” source claims.
Baltic was the main operative of the “Kavac” clan and the organizer of several murders. At the time of the crime, he was an active member of the Serbian Interior Ministry, which is now on trial for removing evidence. According to the indictment, he dumped Baltic’s gun in a container after the crime.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that the state would deal with criminal groups linked to the mafia clans in Montenegro. That will be one of the priorities of the future government. It is interesting that this criminal group from Belgrade, close to “Kavcani”, refers to its connections in the police and other services.
– We will be at the neck of the mafia, Serbia should not and will never be another Colombia – said President Vučić, adding that all those who cooperated with the mafia will be “exterminated” from the state apparatus.
