“Our program is what our society is like,” journalist and television host Zoran Kesić told Danas, answering questions from citizens.

A fellow citizen asked Kesić who his favorite politician was and why Sergej Trifunović.

“According to our feelings, and from one situation to another, we can analyze and criticize one, the other, the third … Sergej is not my favorite politician, Sergej is my favorite,” Kesić said.

He stated as a happy circumstance for the show that the authors don’t actually have a favorite politician.

“The program we are doing now would be meaningless if it were free of political issues. The basis of our show is political satire, it’s just such a show, “Kesić said in response to comments from viewers that after the show he had the impression that a newspaper had grown up.

He expressed his wish to one day participate in other forms of television and film.

“I’ve been in this phase of political satire for seven years and it seems to me that I still have something to say,” Kesić said.

To criticism that he is not politically objective, he replies that from the beginning the program has its own position.

“For the seven years that our show has existed, we try to be absolutely subjective in every topic we cover, meaning that every topic we cover clearly contains the position of the seven of us who are writing the script,” Kesić explained.
