The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) dissolved all party committees in Serbia in order to open space for all people, regardless of whether they are members of that party or not, said party chairman Milos Jovanovic today.

At the press conference, Jovanovic said that the space would be open to all who have the will to fight for the nation and democracy without passion, as key principles of the DSS.

Jovanovic added that in the changing circumstances of the fight for those principles, the time has come to change generations in DSS, in depth.

“The dissolution of the board seems radical, but it is not. “A cycle has been closed and it is time to open a space for all people, whether or not they are party members, who have the will and energy to fight for the principles and political orientations of the DSS without passion,” said Jovanović.

He announced that a dozen DSS boards of directors would be formed in the coming days and that the party status would soon be changed.
