A new organized criminal group that was preparing to inherit the arrested Veljko Belivuk gang (38), called Velja Nevolja, and planning to continue cooperation with the Montenegrin Kavac clan is supposedly the team of Belgrade resident Nikola Vusovic (31), named Johnny from Vracar, reveals Kurir.
It should be remembered that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, confirmed that there is a new clan that wants to inherit the Belivuk team. Addressing the press on Saturday after the National Security Council session, Vučić said that there are young criminal groups who want to inherit criminal activities, but said they will soon be dispersed behind bars as well. -The days of freedom are numbered for all those who think of continuing the “glorious feats of their predecessors” and poisoning children with narcotics, liquidating rivals in a monstrous way – said the president at the press conference.
Young branch
As we have learned unofficially, it was the young branch of the Kavač clan, led by Nikola Vušović Džoni, that allegedly planned to take over Belivuk’s business and its criminal network in Belgrade and Serbia. Vušović filled the columns of the black chronicle in 2010, when he was arrested along with the leader of Partizan fans, Aleksandar Stanković, who was killed on October 13, 2016 with up to 60 bullets from two “Kalashnikovs” on Bačvanska Street in Belgrade.
– Stanković then, as the leader of a Partizan fan faction, fell with eight members from his hole. Those arrested included Vušović, but also the then minors Luka Cerović and Marko Drakula. They were later suspected of drug trafficking, as well as weapons and explosives. Members of this team were also suspected of involvement in the assassination attempts, the Interior Ministry previously announced.
In later years, the Vušović criminal organization allegedly fell under the auspices of the Kavač clan.
– The Kavački clan has its branches in Belgrade. After Stanković’s murder, Belivuk, who was his best friend and closest associate, took over all his affairs and became a branch of the Kavač clan in Serbia, while the other branch was led by Vušović. Belivuk and Vušović’s team actually worked for “Kavčane”, but supposedly they also had a correct relationship with each other, explains our interlocutor.
Johnny, as Express recently wrote, is allegedly currently in Spain, but after Belivuk’s arrest, he intended to return to Serbia.
Cooperation with Zvicer
– Vušević, like Belivuk, is suspected of being a partner of Radoje Zvicer, one of the leaders of the Kavač clan. Apparently, after Belivuk’s arrest, Zvicer lost Belgrade’s most important and strongest partner, but not the only one. He immediately hired a revenge team, a Vracar team, led by Johnny. There is information that he was hired to take over Velja Nevolja’s business, but also to organize revenge, the source told the Express.
Our source also reveals that Johnny de Vracar’s team is very brutal and cruel, and it is suspected that they are also responsible for placing explosives under the car of Lazar Vukićević, a fan of Red Star. A bomb placed under his “Porsche” exploded in 2019 in Vracar, and Vukicevic escaped death by sheer luck. The fan disappeared without a trace in October last year and it is suspected that he is no longer alive.
Dirty jobs Drugs, arrests, jailbreak
Nikola Vušović’s criminal group, among other things, is allegedly involved in the illegal distribution of drugs.
– The most prominent member of Johnny’s team is Luka Cerović, who, according to operational information, is in charge of organizing international drug trafficking. Cerovic was arrested together with him in 2013 at Amsterdam airport for attempted murder and escape from prison; The media previously wrote and added that this group also has several members in charge of the dirtiest jobs.
An attempt to poison the leader of the “resellers” was their goal.
It is also interesting that some members of Vušović’s team participated in the assassination attempt on Jovan Vukotić, the alleged leader of the Skaljar clan, in December 2019 in Belgrade. At the time, Marko Dracula, who was marked in police records as a prominent member of Vušović’s group, was also handcuffed.
– His plan was supposedly to put cyanide in the food of Vukotić, who was being held in the Central Prison at the time, and thus poison him. However, their plan failed and they were arrested. It is also interesting that at the time of the crime they were disguised as policemen, that is, they had uniforms with the UKP insignia – the source recalls and adds that an accusation was filed against them, but that it did not enter into force, because of Appeals returned it as a complement.
