SMP Automotive is a manufacturer of exterior and interior modules for automobiles (bumpers, grilles, body elements, moldings, spoilers, instrument panels, door modules with accompanying electronics, etc.), according to Pluton Logistics.

According to the official website of the municipality, among various locations in Serbia, investors have decided to go ahead and the plant will be built in the Dobrievo industrial park.

Representatives of the local self-government announced in early May that this area would be expanded by 44 hectares, explained by the desire of “a large investor to build an auto parts factory in management.” In mid-August, the first construction machines appeared on the site, and in ten days everything turned into a large construction site. The production facility itself should be the size of three football fields. The deadline for the completion of the works is June 2021.

Representatives of the local self-government announced that in the next period, with the help of the state, the complete infrastructure in the industrial zone will be completed, and that the importance of the development of this industrial complex is expected.
