The exhibition was created in cooperation with the Center for Humanitarian Law and visitors will be able to see it until October 4 of this year.

The story of Amra Begić Fazlić, a woman who survived the genocide in Srebrenica and who works at the Potočari Memorial Center, whose father and grandfather were murdered in July 1995, was the author’s inspiration.

Amra’s story about a dream in which she searches for her father’s bones, about baby Fatima, best friend, neighbors, family, death habit, father, and Srebrenica is one of many personal experiences that you have to listen and never forget.

The exhibition deals with the presentation of personal stories through the author’s analysis of the archives of court documents, video materials, photographs, as well as stories that the Srebrenica Memorial Center, as well as many media, still record. The aim of the exhibition is to convey the stories and experiences of the victims, survivors and their families through illustrations that do not deal with the perpetrators and perpetrators.

Before the opening of the exhibition, the author Jelena Jaćimović, Ivana Žanić and Jovana Kolarić from the Humanitarian Law Center read the names of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide. In the middle of the CZKD hall, Jacimovic then read a letter from Amra Begic Fazlic in which, among other things, she noted how important it is for the families of the victims to find the remains of their loved ones and bury them so that they

The opening of the exhibition was attended, among other things, by numerous representatives of the civil sector: the Humanitarian Law Center, Women in Black, the Open Society Foundation, the ZFD forum, as well as the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Serbia.

In the place archiwar.com the general public will have the opportunity to see the works, read stories about them, but also contribute to raising awareness through any type of creation that is posted on the site after the exhibition.

This is especially true for artists and individuals / groups who want to create something similar themselves and pick up where the ArchiWar project started.

The plan is for the platform to become a sustainable medium that digitally and interactively presents the various content related to the armed conflicts of the 1990s and at the same time provides a space for action for people.

The exhibition was created with the support of the Women’s Reconstruction Fund through the Special Focus program.
